This hotel deserves a higher overall score than it currently has on Booking.com. Yes, it is dated, in need of a refurbishment and the gym equipment is out of the 1970s. Yes, the breakfast also needs improvement or at least a bit more variety. But this hotel was really quite fine overall. The Wifi worked well (in the rooms only), the bed was comfortable and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I understand why some people are disappointed in this hotel, particularly those who come on vacation, but I found everything quite nice overall. The location is excellent, the view of the sea outstanding and the park next to the hotel very nice with plenty of cheap, excellent food stalls available. I would stay here again.

Breakfast was good each morning. View is beautiful. The location is great close to a lot of local bars, and restaurants. A short walk to a park full of vendors that sell food. And located water front so the Ocean breeze is priceless.

My stay in this hotel was immaculate, I had a great time in the restaurant with my family. We took some nice drinks by the vogue bar, and enjoyed our night there we also slept comfortably in my room that had a beautiful view of the sea, the pool was amazing and relaxing I had a great time with family

During my stay I met several staff members that were friendly and made me feel comfortable during my stay. Bertha and Rixi both were exceptional ladies that provided me with great experience while my stay at Ramada.

Close to the port / terminal station, had its own entertainment center! We were here for the cinema! We had a good time watching Moana 2 in English (not Spanish like in most neighboring countries).

My wife and I stayed for one night. We visited the casino and had some drinks at the bar. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are comfortable with a beautiful view. I will return soon.

Breakfast was basic but good (would like more hot sauce options) Room clean, staff friendly and very helpful. Location very centralized and loved that there was a movie theater inside the facility!!

It was an older hotel that was well maintained. It had an excellent swimming pool, casino and the only cinema in Belize City.
